G’day. I’m Shaun Sutts.
I spent 20+ years in property. Made good money. Understood the game. Then I looked under the hood and couldn’t keep doing it.
I spent 20 years as an MS patient. Hospital infusions. Model patient. Then I walked away from the medical system and got better.
I’m not a journalist. Not an academic. Not an expert in anything, really. Just someone who’s been paying attention. And once you start noticing things don’t add up, you can’t stop noticing.
What This Is About
This is The Noticing Project.
Not conspiracy theories. Not politics. Not left vs right. Just… noticing.
Noticing that the same mechanism repeats across different systems. Money. Education. Property. Healthcare. Government. All following the same playbook:
Create dependency. Extract value. Prevent escape. Obscure the mechanism. Ignore the rules.
Once you see it in one place, you start seeing it everywhere.
My Story (The Short Version)
Property:
I spent over two decades in the property game. Knew how it worked. Made it work for me. But the more I understood the monetary mechanics—the bank money creation, the debt-fueled price rises, the generational wealth transfer—the more I realized what I was actually participating in.
Young people being priced out of basic shelter while property investors (including me) celebrated paper gains in a currency losing value. A system requiring ever-increasing prices and debt. Ponzi characteristics.
I couldn’t keep doing it. Not because I’m morally superior. Because once you see the extraction mechanism, you can’t unsee it.
Health:
Diagnosed with MS at 25. Got pulled into the medical system—fear, possible misdiagnosis, lack of understanding about how the body actually works. Twenty years of hospital infusions. Treatments. Did everything recommended.
I was a great customer.
But I wasn’t getting better. I was being managed. Kept stable enough to keep coming back, but never actually healing.
Five years ago, I went cold turkey. Stopped all pharmaceutical products. And I feel better than ever.
I’m not giving medical advice. I’m just sharing what happened: I was their customer for 20 years. And the moment I walked away from the system, I started actually healing.
The Pattern:
Two systems where I was winning. Property (profitable). Healthcare (compliant). Both times, once I understood how they actually worked, I had to walk away.
Because winning in a rigged game still means participating in something broken.
And once you notice the pattern in two systems, you start looking at everything else differently.
What You’ll Find Here
This isn’t a blog about one topic. It’s about a pattern that expresses through many topics.
I’m going to start with money. Because that’s the foundation of everything else. Once you understand what money actually is (and isn’t), how it’s created, what happened to real money, and what alternatives exist—everything else makes more sense.
Then we’ll look at education, property, corporate life, healthcare, climate policy, government structure, and recent events that demonstrate the pattern operating at global scale.
Each essay follows the same approach:
- Here’s what we’re commonly told
- Here’s what I noticed that doesn’t quite fit
- Here’s who benefits from the current arrangement
- Make of it what you will
I’m not here to tell you what to think. I’m sharing what I’ve noticed. You can agree, disagree, or land somewhere in between.
The Tone
I’m Australian. I talk like one. This isn’t academic writing. It’s just one bloke sharing observations with other people who’ve been noticing things don’t add up.
I won’t:
- Tell you I have all the answers (I don’t)
- Claim absolute certainty (I could be wrong)
- Demand you believe me (do your own research)
- Be preachy or condescending (we’re figuring this out together)
I will:
- Present evidence and patterns
- Ask questions that deserve asking
- Follow the money (always instructive)
- Acknowledge uncertainty where it exists
- Invite you to think, not command you to believe
Who This Is For
This is for people who:
- Feel like something’s off but can’t quite articulate what
- Work hard but feel like they’re falling behind
- Notice things don’t make sense but get told they’re wrong for questioning
- Want to understand the systems they’re living in
- Are willing to reconsider things they thought were settled
This isn’t for people who:
- Want simple answers (this is complex)
- Need to be right about everything (neither do I)
- Can’t handle having beliefs challenged (you’ll be uncomfortable)
- Think questioning anything makes you a conspiracy theorist (I question everything)
What I’m Not
I’m not trying to:
- Sell you anything (this is free)
- Build a movement (just sharing observations)
- Convince you I’m right about everything (I’m not)
- Create an echo chamber (disagreement welcome)
I’m not claiming to have secret knowledge. Everything I write about is based on publicly available information, documented history, observable patterns, and personal experience.
I’m just connecting dots that are there for anyone to connect.
A Warning
Once you start seeing the pattern, you can’t unsee it.
Money. Education. Property. Corporate life. Healthcare. Government. They all follow the same structure. All working together. All reinforcing each other.
The system has you running a marathon on a treadmill—and they keep speeding it up.
Once you notice that, the world looks different. Not better or worse, necessarily. Just clearer.
Some people don’t want clarity. They want comfort. And that’s fine. But if you’re reading this, you’re probably not those people.
The Plan
Starting now: The Money Series (Essays 1-4)
- What is money? (Spoiler: Not what you think)
- The Federal Reserve (How money actually gets created)
- Silver’s strange story (What happened to real money)
- Bitcoin (The alternative that can’t be inflated)
These four essays establish the foundation. Everything else builds from here.
After that: One essay every fortnight, examining different systems through the same lens. Education. Property. Corporate capture. Health. Climate. Government structure. Recent global events. The digital control grid being built right now.
By the end, you’ll see how it all connects. How the same pattern repeats. How the extraction mechanisms work together.
Or you’ll think I’m completely wrong. Either way, you’ll have thought about it.
One More Thing
I’ve walked away from two systems I was succeeding in. Property and healthcare. Not because I’m better than anyone else. Because once I saw clearly how they worked, I couldn’t keep participating.
That’s cost me. Financially. Socially. You don’t walk away from systems without consequences.
So why write this? Why share these observations publicly?
Because maybe someone else is noticing the same things. Maybe someone else feels like they’re going crazy questioning what everyone else accepts. Maybe someone else needs the framework to understand what they’re seeing.
If that’s you, welcome. You’re not crazy. You’re noticing.
Let’s see where this goes.
Subscribe (it’s free) to get new essays as they’re published. Start with the Money Series. Read in order. See if the pattern emerges for you too.
And if you think I’m completely wrong about all of this? That’s fine. At least you thought about it.
